Caja de Valores catalogues
Read-only lookups for the fields validated against Caja de Valores rather than Esco. They return { id, name, code } — and unlike the Esco catalogues, which of the two you send depends on the field.
[
{ "id": 1, "name": "Argentina", "code": "1" },
{ "id": 2, "name": "Brasil", "code": "3" }
]
| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
id | integer | Internal row identifier. Not used in account-opening bodies |
name | string | Human-readable name. Sent for lugar_nacimiento |
code | string | Caja de Valores code. Sent for localidad |
name or code — the two are not interchangeablelugar_nacimiento is validated against paises-cv.name, so you send "Argentina". localidad is validated against localidades-cv.code, so you send the code, not the locality name. Getting these the wrong way round is the most common 422 on this page's fields.
The codes here are also not the Esco country codes — see the warning on Esco catalogues.
The endpoints
| Endpoint | Feeds this field | Value to send |
|---|---|---|
GET /v1/aperturas/paises-cv | lugar_nacimiento | name |
GET /v1/aperturas/localidades-cv | localidad | code |
GET /v1/aperturas/localidades-ext-cv | Localities outside Argentina | code |
localidades-cv rows also carry an esco field — the equivalent Esco locality — which Allaria uses internally to translate the value. You do not send it.

Caching
These lists are stored at Allaria and change rarely. Cache them on your side rather than calling them once per account.
